Hug a Panda’s mission is to create great casual learning games.  Games where the fun comes first and learning comes second.

“Woah woah woah,” you’re thinking to yourself, “What you guys said sounds a lot like edutainment!”

When we hear “edutainment” we think boring lectures disguised as games.  Games created to supplement learning material.  That’s not what we do.  Edutainment typically focuses on learning first gaming second (remember we’re the opposite).

After all, if a game isn’t fun why would you play it in the first place?  Reading the dictionary would be a great educational experience for me, but I’m probably never going to do it.  A game could have great learning value, but it’s wasted if no one plays it.  That would make Panda very sad.
